PhD Opportunities

As a potential student, you will first probably wish to find out about our research interests. For the research interests of the members of the group, please have a look at our member page. Before an official application, you should contact individual academic staff first.

Applying for a PhD involves the submission of a completed on-line application supported by two references. For UK applicants, it may also involve an informal interview. A general outline of the group’s research activity in the Complexity & Networks Group can be found in here. Visit our PhD students page to learn more about our current postgraduate students. More information about PhD studies can be found in the Math’s department’s web page and on the Physics Postgraduate Admission pages. In physics, applications are dealt with by research groups so follow the links to find the relevant research groups (these are distinct units from the cross disciplinary Centre for Complexity Science) .  Tim Evans’ notes on PhD applications may be useful.
